At the northern end of the Oregon Cascades stands the state’s highest and most iconic peak: Mount Hood. The still-active volcano is the only peak in Oregon that reaches above 11,000 feet and is thus easily seen from great distances around the state.
This map focuses on the summit of Mount Hood, along with the glaciers, streams, and forests that fringe the mountain. All major geographic features are labeled, and elevations are noted for major peaks and points. Contour lines and shaded relief provide a detailed view of the topography, and hiking trails are shown and labeled so you can reminisce about adventures past or dream of future expeditions.
About this print:
This map is printed on a smooth, deep-matte, non-reflective paper that looks great in any light. Mounted prints are set on a 1/8" Masonite board, giving them a rigid backing and making them ready to mount, hang, or frame out of the box.
